Situation

Duracell, an international consumer goods company that manufactures and markets high performance batteries, aimed to build loyalty and support for the brand through a logoed merchandise program. The integrity of the promotion required continued and immediate distribution of promotional merchandise to an international sales force located in more than 30 countries.

Solution

All Star’s state-of-the-art warehouse and fulfillment facilities enabled us to purchase, manage and fulfill a constant inventory of high-quality products that were available for immediate shipment to sales representatives located anywhere in the world. We processed orders for Duracell’s international sales force on a daily basis. Communications efforts included a quarterly email and monthly newsletter that were sent to all participants to keep them engaged in the program, to introduce new products and to provide up-to-date information about the program.

Results

By centralizing the inventory and fulfillment of Duracell’s logoed merchandise, the company succeeded in reducing the workload of its internal staff as well as their international sales force. Employees were freed to concentrate on other priorities while the Duracell brand was successfully promoted worldwide.
