Situation
Charles Schwab, a financial services company that provides investment and financial products as well as investment, trading and brokerage services, wanted to provide effective incentives and performance rewards to the company’s top performing brokers. Schwab had an existing annual recognition program, but it needed to be enhanced and transitioned to an online management system.
Solution
All Star created a customized web site for Charles Schwab’s awards program. We also managed an email campaign that invited the brokers recognized as top performers to log onto the award site to select and redeem their gift. Once a participant chose his or her gift online, All Star processed and fulfilled each order. Each gift was shipped with a personalized message and a complementary golf shirt bearing the program's logo.
Results
The online program developed by All Star saved the company $22,000 by reducing the costs of printing and mailing gift catalogs. It also provided a more effective communication vehicle for Program Managers to encourage and reward performance.
