Are You Prepared In Good and Bad Economic Times?
Sturbridge, MA - Brian Galonek, President of All Star Incentive Marketing, Inc., revealed his latest white paper, "Upsizing Morale in a Downsized Economy: The Role of Incentive Programs," at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) show held in Orlando Florida, June 22-24, 2003. The paper discusses employees or "The Employee" as a company's most valuable asset, and how incentive programs are affordable management tools for creating a positive work environment to retain and motivate these employees during good and bad economic times.
"
Improving morale, rewarding performance, revealing and retaining "Star
Performers" through a properly constructed incentive
program, should be part of company's integrated business
plan," commented Galonek. "Those companies that
fail to proactively maintain a positive, rewarding work environment
will lose their "Star Performers" to other companies
once the economy improves." Galonek went on to explain
that losing key employees further impacts a company's morale
as well as their financial stability, "Other employees
will watch these "Star Performers" leave and question
their own commitment and loyalty to the company. Meanwhile,
a company is forced to extend resources into finding,
hiring, and training replacement employees at a time when
these resources could be better spent elsewhere."
Galonek's white paper was first distributed to VIP customers
as part of All Star's pre-SHRM-show direct marketing effort.
The paper was also part of an information giveaway that attendees
received when they visited the All Star booth.
