How Do You Motivate at the Motivation Show?

Sturbridge, MA – Use incentives to attract booth traffic and make it worth the audience’s time. That’s All Star Incentive Marketing’s philosophy, anyway. To that end, All Star drew large audiences to their booth, at the 2003 Motivation Show held in Chicago, IL, September 16-18, with a Return On Incentive Investment (ROI2TM) kit. The kit was packed with practical information vital to helping companies increase business performance.

Heidi Chatfield, All Star’s Manger of Marketing Communications, explained, “The three-day Motivation Show is the world’s largest exposition of incentive merchandise, services, and offers, attracting the industries top incentive companies. In this venue, where participants have high expectations and anticipate being inundated with ‘fancy trinkets,’ it made sense for us to leverage our experience and knowledge.” So, rather than a bag full of logoed tchotchkes, those who visited All Star’s booth received a “ROI2 Kit” containing tools for business success. The kit included:

• A demo CD of All Star’s family of online incentive solutions, eChoices™
• A white paper discussing how to create and apply an ROI2 strategy
• A calculator and pad to add up and record future return on incentive investments

Brian Galonek, President of All Star, commented, “Motivation Show attendees tend to know that measurable results are essential to determining incentive program effectiveness, but are not necessarily aware of how to implement a measurement strategy. We believe it is essential to show our clients how to determine the impact their program had on the bottom line.” Chatfield added, “Attendees appreciate the practicality of the ROI2 Kit. And, of course, if they stuck around to learn how All Star could play a role in their ROI2 strategy, we threw in the types of incentives they’re used to at these shows.” A live web-based demonstration of All Star’s family of eChoice solutions was made available to qualified participants, and demo attendees redeemed a $50 award using All Star’s eChoice Levels™ solution. In addition, each participant was entered to win a Nikon Coolpix 3100 Digital Camera.
