All Star Continues to Actively Support Mohegan Sun

Since 2007, Mohegan Sun has retained All Star Incentive Marketing to assist with seasonal event and promotions gift sourcing. Today, All Star continues to actively support Mohegan Sun’s effort to create positive gifting experiences.
One of the more unique and inspiring ideas to brighten the day of casino patrons at the 2011 Mohegan Sun Mother’s Day event was the  “Just Add Ice – Orchid” offering. This idea originated when All Star’s Vice President of Marketing & Operations presented a “Just Add Ice – Orchid” as a birthday gift to All Star’s Premium Sales Manager. Mohegan Sun wanted to pursue a similar option for their 2011 Holiday appreciation event. This time, the product of choice was Poinsettias. An order of 5,000 Poinsettias was placed and delivered to Mohegan Sun in time for the 2011 Holiday season.

The All Star Incentive Marketing Team PLEDGES to Reduce Their Carbon Footprint

STURBRIDGE OFFICE PARK, FISKDALE, MA – In honor of Earth Day, the employees of All Star Incentive Marketing have documented their personal pledges to support of the company’s ongoing commitment to reduce their carbon footprint.
 A hydrangea tree adorned with leaves made from recycled paper, records the hand written pledges from each employee. This tree is predominately placed in the front lobby of the All Star facility for visitors and employees alike to enjoy. With every pledge employees received a blue spruce seedling as a token of appreciation and to further demonstrate their support for Earth Day. From eliminating  the use of paper plates and reusing zip lock storage bags to using efficient CFL bulbs and turning off lights when exiting an empty room, the employees of All Star strongly believe their efforts will make a big difference in conserving the planets limited resources. All Star Employees Help to Outfit Barracks for Returning Soldiers

STURBRIDGE OFFICE PARK, FISKDALE, MA – In November 2010, employees of All Star Incentive Marketing participated in “Operation Upgrade,” an initiative to welcome returning U.S. soldiers from Afghanistan with a comfortable stay in their home barracks at Fort Hood, Texas.
The goal of Operation Upgrade is to welcome every returning soldier in the Army’s 20th Engineer Battalion, currently deployed in Kandahar, with personal amenities including wash cloth, bath towel, shower curtain, shower mat and toiletries. They aim to outfit each barracks room with sheets, pillow case, pillow, blanket, garbage can, paper/plastic plates, utensils, cups and personal snacks and soft drinks. The Battalion expects 200 soldiers will stay in these barracks for several weeks upon their return.

Incentive Legislation Campaign Advocates Wellness Incentives

Falls Church, VA – Representatives of the Incentive Legislation Campaign (ILC) traveled to Capitol Hill on November 10 to meet face-to-face with staff advisors of targeted members of Congress as part of the ILC effort to institutionalize the power of wellness incentives as a way to encourage a healthy American work force.
Seeking to amend the Internal Revenue Code by including employer deductions and employee tax exemptions for wellness incentives, ILC representatives met with the Senate Finance Committee senior benefits counsel for Senator Baucus, tax advisors for Senators Hatch and Enzi, health care policy advisor for Senator Harkin and a legislative aide for Senator Cornyn.

OH&S Salutes All Star as a 2010 New Product of the Year Winner

SAN DIEGO — Editor Jerry Laws and other staff members from Occupational Health & Safety presented trophies and gold ribbons Tuesday to representatives of the 16 companies that won the magazine’s 2010 New Product of the Year Awards. This second annual contest attracted a new high of 42 products in 17 award categories, with an independent panel of three highly qualified judges choosing the winners.

Over 18 Million Steps to Wellness

In June 2009 the employees of All Star Incentive Marketing embarked on a 7 month walking program called “Walk to Wellness.”  The steps taken were tracked against a virtual trek along the Appalachian Trail.  At the close of this journey the employees of the All Star Wellness Program walked a total of 18,485,496 steps. This equates to walking the Appalachian Trail up and down a total of 2 times.
The virtual hike was broken into 5 distinct segments from Maine to Georgia. For each segment teams of 5 participants were randomly drawn and aligned.  Unique names were created for each group to add to the team building atmosphere of the walk. Some of the most noteworthy names included Walktoberforce, Mo’Walkin, Are we There Yet, Walk Easy Striders, Take a Hike, Sole Survivors, and Walk the Line.

Campana-Lee comes to All Star from Maritz Inc. formerly Cascade Promotion Corporation based out of Marlboro Massachusetts.  At Maritz/Cascade her career was fast tracked from Customer Service to Senior Marketing Manager selling incentive solutions to top fortune 500 companies. For several years Campana-Lee has worked with All Star as a manufactures rep/vendor for many luxury brands. Twelve Companies Win Inaugural NPOY Awards

DALLAS, TX – Occupational Health & Safety magazine announced the winners of its 2009 New Product of the Year Award at the annual National Safety Council Congress and Expo in Orlando today. The Occupational Health & Safety New Product of the Year Award honors the outstanding product development achievements of health and safety manufacturers whose products are considered to be particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve workplace safety.

All Star hopes to save 90 lives

STURBRIDGE OFFICE PARK, FISKDALE, MA – On August 6th, 2009, All Star Incentive Marketing partnered with The American Red Cross to break donation records.  The Red Cross traveling “Bloodmobile” was staged in front of All Star’s headquarters from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm as All Star employees, and employees from neighboring company Photonis, made donations.  With the collective efforts of All Star’s employees, neighbors, friends, and family a total of 30 units were collected while additional volunteers were waiting in the wings to help out.  According to The American Red Cross, each unit can save approximately 3 lives.

BIG Loss at All Star is a GAIN for Worcester County Food Bank

STURBRIDGE OFFICE PARK, FISKDALE, MA –   For two months employees of All Star Incentive Marketing worked hard to take the weight off in order to help those individuals and families faced with a difficult choice between putting food on the table or paying expenses.  On Friday, All Star delivered their collective weight loss of 152.25lbs in food and grocery products to the Worcester County Food Bank. This donation was the end result of All Star’s Biggest Loser Competition.
Every Thursday for eight weeks, participants reported to the in-office fitness facility for their official weigh-in. At weigh-in, the individual and the team with the largest weight loss, based on percentage of weight loss, was revealed. In the days following each weigh-in, employees were asked to bring in the food equivalent of their weight loss, which was constructed into a food pyramid in All Star’s foyer.  This pyramid served as a constant reminder [...]
